The Literacy and numeracy catch-up premium gives school additional funding to support year 7 pupils who did not achieve the expected standard in reading or maths at the end of key stage 2.

Each year we report on:

• How much year 7 catch-up premium funding was received for the current financial year

• Details of how the funding will be spent

• Details of how the year 7 catch-up premium was spent in the last financial year

• How it made a difference to the attainment of the pupils who attract the funding and how we assessed the effect it had.
